School and Community Service
The Gearheads have participated in various community service activities in the past year. There are plans to expand community service throught the coming year
June 2006 - Habitat For Humanity
The Gearheads built the floors and walls for a house to be shipped to New Orleans.
December 2006 - Remote Control Train
Several Gearheads built the mechanisms and controls for a renmote control train for the Grosse Pointe South drama club.
January 2007 - Mittens, Scarves and Gloves
The Gearheads collected mittems, scarves and gloves that were donated to charity for distribution.
February 2007 - School Supplies
Schools supplies are being collected for distribution to a nearby elementary school in another school district.
