Welcome to the 2007 Gearheads Website!
Our Mission - Grosse Pointe Gearheads' mission is to provide an environment where students build the science, engineering and life skills to become capable, confident leaders in science, mathematics, engineering, business and communications through successful participation in FIRST robotics competitions.
Quick Information - We currently hold a team meeting every Thursday at 7pm in the CAD lab at Grosse Pointe South High School while school is in session. Feel free to contact us at gearingcommittee(at)gpgearheads(dot)org if you have any questions.
2007 Competitions
We attended three competitions this year and through various mechanical and electrical adversity and heavy competition we were awarded the following:

This year we improved upon our Design and Engineering capabilities with the use of Autodesk Inventor. Although what could be termed a 'rough transition' from Key Creator, we did see many benefits. |
